Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:46-47 Tweet
God designed us for community. In Acts 2 we find one of the earliest descriptions of The Church. The description is full of community!
It’s hard to stand alone. Living for Christ in community with other followers of Jesus gives us strength, encouragement and accountability. Living without community allows us to be more susceptible to attack and defeat. Life is better together!
At Discovery, we have two major launches a year in August and January. Some groups are seasonal while others are short-term; some never stop meeting, others do take breaks during certain seasons. One thing you need to know is that joining a group is not a lifetime commitment; you decide when to join and when to leave a group depending on where God takes you.
Look through the groups that are available at the campus you attend. Find one that interests you and join!
Visit the Groups Page to find out more info and sign up for available groups.
Have a Growth Talk conversation about it! A Growth Talk is a chance to discuss with someone else the step you are preparing to take.
