Serving At Discovery Church
The First Impressions Team:
The First Impressions Team at Discovery Church is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment at Discovery Church. Serving on this team is a great way to get to know others at the church and find community.
Service Opportunities on the First Impressions Team include:
Greeters, Cafe Team, Parking, Ushers, Safety, Facilities Prep.
You can join the First Impressions Team by filling out the volunteer application.

Buddy Break (Nathaniel’s Hope)
Buddy Break is a free parents’ day out/respite program where kids with all types of special needs (VIP kids) have fun while their parents get a break. At Discovery Church, our Buddy Break program meets on the second Saturday of each month at our Sand Lake Campus from 9 a.m. to noon.

Orlando Union Rescue Mission
Helping Orlando’s homeless men, women, and children on the path to independence since 1948. This group serves dinner on the second Saturday of every month and ministers to the children through arts and crafts.

Servant’s Heart Ministry
Serves homes with under-resourced children by providing meat, fruits and vegetables, baked goods, and canned food every week to help these families break the cycle of poverty through education and discipleship.
