Invite Friends, Family, Co-Workers and Neighbors to Church

In His last few moments on Earth with His disciples, Jesus said the following:

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:16-20

As disciples of Jesus we have the same opportunity to make disciples of Jesus everywhere we go!

How can you do this?

  • Pray and ask God who you should invite to come with you to a Discovery Church service.
  • Invite the person that God has brought to your mind. Be bold!

If they say “yes” pray for them before the service and also during the service. If they say “no” keep praying for them and inviting them!

After the service spend some time discussing the teaching that you just heard with that friend.

  • What was one thing that really stood out to you from the teaching?
  • What was something you had questions about?
  • Are there areas of your life that the teaching applies to?
  • Is there a step you feel like you should take?

Invite your friend to answer the same questions as well. We believe that growth is best done in community, and this is a great chance to grow together!

Think this might be the next step for you?

Have a Growth Talk conversation about it! A Growth Talk is a chance to discuss with someone else the step you are preparing to take.
