God Designed Us For Community!
In Acts 2 we find one of the earliest descriptions of The Church. The description is full of community!
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:46-47
It’s hard to stand alone. Living for Christ in community with other followers of Jesus gives us strength, encouragement and accountability. Living without community allows us to be more susceptible to attack and defeat. Life is better together!
At Discovery, our goal is that every person in our church will be a part of a group. As a Disciple-Making Disciple we hope that you will take on the very important role of Group Leader! This is one of the most direct ways to consistently make Disciples of Jesus!
